You will need for main bag:
Outer Fabric: 0.25m (1/4yd) Firm fabrics including – Cork, vinyl, waterproof canvas, oilskin, waxed canvas, and Cordura. Quilt cottons may be used with a layer of extra firm interfacing.
Interfacing for Outer: 0.25m (1/4yd). Not required unless using light weight fabrics such as quilt cotton. Use a layer of extra firm interfacing such as Decovil Light.
Lining Fabric: 0.3m (1/3yd). Any lightweight fabric such as lightweight waterproof canvas, nylon lining fabrics and quilt weight cottons.
Interfacing for Lining: 0.3m (1/3yd). For quilt cottons use Medium Weight Fusible Interfacing (MWFI) such as Vilene F220, G700, Pellon SF101. Not required if using nylon or waterproof lining fabrics.
Zips: 1 x 40cm (16”) and 1 x 20cm (8”) Nylon Coil Zip – to match outer. Not suitable for metal zips.
Front Pocket Overlay: This pocket is optional. Strip of non-fraying fabric such as leather, cork or vinyl.
Webbing Strap: 137cm (54”) 1 ¼” or 1 ½” wide webbing.
Strap Closure: 1 each 1 ¼” or 1 ½” side release buckle and triglide to match your chosen width of webbing.
Bias Binding: 58cm (23”) of ¾” wide pre-made bias binding.

Patterns are detailed and well-written, and accompanying videos are clear and encouraging. The Clamshell Sling goes together nicely, although I got overly ambitious with interfacing even when the pattern warned me not to. My own fault 😊 Always a treat to sew Spencer Ogg patterns!

I love this pattern, I’ve made 4 or 5. I have rambunctious grandkids apparently. and the strap was separating from the bag. My solution is to add 4 rivets to the back near the strap on the pocket. I have a picture if you would like one.
