What fabrics are suitable for bag making, what they are and how to use them.
I’m often asked what fabrics are suitable for bag making – so I thought I would make a quick video to illustrate.
I’ve worked in textile production all my life, well before becoming a bag pattern designer, so hopefully I can give you a brief round-up of the main fabric types and their general properties without getting too technical.

MARVELOUS information on different fabrics. I have been sewing for a few years and still consider myself a beginner. As I am self taught, it is quite a struggle to learn everything. There are many things that I did not know about the different types of fabric so this is amazing! I strongly recommend this to EVERYONE!.. Thank you so much!
