Hi, I’m Diane, the creator behind Spencer Ogg Sewing Patterns, and I’m thrilled you’re here!
I’m from Manchester, UK, and have been sewing for as long as I can remember. With a degree in clothing and textile production, I spent years working for big-name companies before taking the leap to start my own business. Combining my love of sewing and my bag obsession, I began designing patterns to share my passion with others.

I’m proud to say that my award-winning patterns are fun, practical, and achievable for sewists of all levels – even if you’re brand new to bag making. All of my designs are designed to work on domestic sewing machines (because I don’t own an industrial one – if I can make it, you can too!).

To make things even easier, nearly all my designs now come with detailed video tutorials, so you can follow along step by step in real time.

Behind the scenes, I have an amazing and thorough team of testers who ensure every detail is explained and easy to understand. Together, we make sure each pattern is polished and ready for you to enjoy.
